The Importance of Value-Based Education in Today’s World

In today’s fast-changing world, academic knowledge alone is not enough to shape responsible and successful individuals. Value-based education plays a crucial role in developing discipline, honesty, respect, and social responsibility among students.

At Gyan Sindhu Senior Secondary School, equal importance is given to moral values along with academic learning. Through daily routines, teacher guidance, and co-curricular activities, students learn essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and empathy. This balanced approach helps children grow into confident individuals who are prepared not only for exams but also for life.

As children enter kindergarten, they develop further skills that prepare them for school. They learn to follow routines and understand more complex instructions.

  • Physical: Writing their names, playing sports.
  • Cognitive skills: Reading simple books, understanding mathematical concepts like
    addition and subtraction.
  • Social/Emotional: Respecting rules, showing empathy towards friends, developing self-awareness.
  • Physical: Rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and eventually walking.

Each child’s journey through these stages is unique, unfolding at their own pace. Create a foundation that nurtures the whole child emotionally.
